Welcome to my blog!

Thanks for checking out my new web site, RoyWilliams31.com! I hope that you enjoy reading my blog as much as I enjoy writing it, and I hope that you'll watch me and my Dallas Cowboys teammates play throughout the 2007-2008 season.

Oh, and by the way, if you happen to be looking for the "other Roy Williams," you might find him over at http://www.detroitlions.com. I'd point you directly to his personal web site, but I'm not really sure if he has one.

Anyhow, now that we have that out of the way, we can start talking Cowboys, football, and whatever else I may choose to rant or ramble about.

Preseason starts tomorrow, with Peyton Manning and the Colts in town. We had some great practices down in San Antonio, but now I'm ready to bust some heads for real! If you'd like to be an honorary Head-Busta, purchase one of my "HEAD-BUSTA" wristbands.

Hello Roy,

I actually never new you existed until last week when my cousin turned to MTV cribs( I don't watch that show). But anyway what made me spark an interest in who you were is because you had your church symbol when you walk in the door, your scriptures above your bed, and some of your youth from the church in your house. Its very rare that a pro football player is so out about the LORD. It ain't nothing like a saved man lol. I never thought that there would be anyway to let you know that and I know you maybe use to people congradulating you on your games and being pro or just what you do to influence people, but you would NOT be able to do any of it without you being in love with Christ. I'm not looking for you to respond to this I just wanted to recognize you for your love of GOD.Anyway football is my favorite sport so I will see you in TV land lol.

We should just be mindful that children and teens may come across this site and we don't want to send the wrong messages, even if they may be unconsciously subtle. This is not the place to go tit for tat, everyone has a right to their opinions, but being that minors most likely will log on his blog, just don't get too personal is all i'm saying. We want to promote Roy and encourage him, but there are some things that are best left unsaid. There is a time and place for everything, and personally it's not my intentions to offend anyone and I apologize to anyone who get offended by my comments and i'm not personally attacking anyone, i'm just speaking in general terms. Proverbs 19:11 " A man's wisdom gives him patience; it is his glory to overlook an offense" God also says in Proverbs 17:9-10 " He who covers over an offense promotes love, but whoever repeats the matter separate close friends. A rebuke impresses a man of discernment more than a hundred lashes a fool." This shouldn't be grounds for you to end your "communication" because of someone's opinion. Personally, that's how I grow. When i'm in error, an open rebuke is better than hidden love, prov. 27:5. It says in prov. 12:16 " A fool shows his annoyance at once, but a prudent man overlooks an insult." In Proverbs 16:2 "All a man's ways seem innocent to him, but motives are weighed by the Lord." I promote sisterhood and brotherhood, there is too much division in the house of God as it is. Furthermore, the only person's attention I want, is God's and that's for real. We should all strive for that. What's important here is that the kids need to see positive reviews and words of encouragement for Roy. He is a major blessing, very talented and he a role model for many children and teens.I hate being repetitive, so i will say God Bless to all the readers and we are looking forward to a great season this year!!! It's very exciting times!!

Roy good luck during your season and continue to be a blessing to others the way that you are. The fact that I have given you a POSTIVE COMMENT on your spirituality and the fact that you have a nice smile has offended others and they think that when children and teens come across your site that it is rated-R. Personally I would want spirituality instilled in my children. To know that you know GOD SHOULD be an important factor. This is the first time that I have ever blogged and CLEARLY it must be very nasty talk. I do not want to hurt your site in anyway so I will not blog anymore since I have to deal with other people who are bored and want to talk others down to boost themselves. I am a grown woman and will not deal with childish people. You do have a nice website though but the only bad thing is that people run others away. Roy I will continue to support silently.
